Her hind parts are cheetah, coloured a light dusty tan/yellow with spots that are smaller and fainter than usual. This colouring carries on to her barred sparrowhawk foreparts. She has very small vestigial wings that she cannot fly with. Her head is completely pitch black from just behind her stubby ears forward, making it often hard to discern her features or even if her eyes are open or closed. It's not just her eyes, beak and skin that are completely black, either - so is the inside of her mouth. At night, she can look quite headless.
On the whole she has a very lean, long-legged athletic appearence fitting to her cheetah-like hunting methods. |
| Personality |
Iaro is very independant and though she likes company, she has no problems being on her own for long periods of time. Pragmatic, practical and a hard worker, she's happy to improvise any way that she needs to. She's even tempered, a calm sort of animal with a strong focus on the facts of things. She's no bore, though - she has a strong dry sense of humour and she can be devilish. She enjoys the good things in life, especially basking in the sun. |
| Biography |
Born flightless to two Terra parents, Iaro was a source of tension in the family due to her abnormally small wings. She was an only chick and was fond of adventuring away from home, particularly as it meant getting away from her family. It was while she was adventuring alone that she discovered her magical ability. Although learning to use it on her own meant it developed slowly, she is now quite efficient with her unusual Dead Power ability as a scavenger & pirate of magic. She became independant early on and although she is fond of her parents she has little contact with them now. |
