((IT'S ABOUT TIME I POSTED D:>!))
'Oh my sweet love, never leave my side, delicious ore!' Simple Gemma nature, he couldn't help it most of the time. With magical help, Abiyram could view every single speck of glittering gold and silver in the pearly sand. He was having a special moment to himself, by unleashing his primal nature, the true heart of the shiny-addict. This sand was rich, he wanted it, but it was also disappointing and untasteful. The silver and gold, were just simple dust, washed ashore by the sea from lands unknown, eroded, and tarnished by the salt. There was nothing under the top layer of soil, he had already found that out in his previous excursions, but he'd give half his pride to know where these particles were coming from. As a shine-driven treasure-hoarder, and remotely soiled prince, he could just lay in it and role around, make the shine in his pelt actually glitter. It was extremely tempting, and certainly mindless at the most, but his instincts felt it necessary... Than again what if someone was watching? The instinctive allure was strong, however, resisting was easy as well. Nodding away, he zoned out of the glitter on the sand. 'Come back to intelligence.' he commanded himself in his head, 'Abiyram, why must you be such a primitive idiot, and immature loser sometimes. Get your head straight, you have followers for goodness sake!' His expression changed in a simple way, and to hold it he turned his head to the sunset on the sea. -------------------- ![]() |

OOC: *waves madly at falco*
While another pridemaster was having a moment this one was deep in thought, as usual. Dagon caught himself thinking a lot these days. Well he did have a lot to think about, pridemaster duties, fitting into this new place, spirits, and not making a fool of himself. The list went on and on. Sometimes he really wished he wasn't well known and was plagued constantly by the dead. He wished he could escape it all, like when he was a mere chick where he only heard the occasional whisper from the past, and he had no responsibilities to speak of. When he looked up he realized he didn't know where he was. Dagon now felt rather stupid and so just kinda stood there, unsure what his next action would be. It was a pretty beach, the sand was full of shiny things, but after a quick glance he decided not enough to bother him. On his right was the land, which consisted of grass and trees, while on his left was the shimmering ocean. Behind him were rock pools with various curiosities and finally ahead of him was another gryphon. Curious, he decided to swim towards him. Dagon didn't get to swim much. He was often too busy with other things to enjoy himself. The large scarred brute powered his way through the water, simply enjoying the cool lapping motion of the waves. Soon however, he had to head to shore and so he veered his course shoreward. He came from the surf, shaking his coat. He put on his his classic, but polite, slightly crooked smile. "Hello, good sir, lovely weather isn't it?" he asked, ugh, why's he bring up the weather like a cheesy idiot? |

Dear heavens, had someone seen him make a fool of himself? He could sense someone approaching, and he attempted to keep that straight posture he had held since he had gotten over his other behavior. His eyes shot to the sound of splashed uneven with the waves lapping the ground, and he shuffled his wings so that they lied perfectly upon his back.
From rumors he had heard, the neutral pride was had a new ruler; by what was described to Abiyram, this approacher looked very close to what he had imagined. Though himself... looked so weak and skinny (added his stubby little mini-horns), compared to the brute, Abiyram wasn't sure if he wanted to be approached. The Hydros spoke to him, which after his words he didn't seem so intimidating... Lovely weather? Wow, I'm impressed, such an original subject...' Abiyram thought with sarcasm... but was there anything much else to talk about. "Greetings," He replied, "and, It is beautiful day." -------------------- ![]() |

*Waves*
((OOC: Just thought I'd add to this thread and see if we can get it moving again.)) It's been far too long since I've had this much peace and quiet. Kris had finally been able to get away from her pride duties long enough for some time alone. She wanted to be with and help her pride as much as possible, yes, but even she needed some time away now and again. She had chosen this coast as it wasn't owned by any specific pride and she was least likely to encounter anyone else here. And if there did happen to be someone else here, she could probably avoid them easily enough. She walked along the edge of the water, her dark pelt standing out against the glittering sands. The soft grains felt good between her toes and the sound of the waves washing up was very calming. She closed her eyes as she walked, enjoying the solitude to its fullest. Perhaps she had been enjoying it too much for when she heard voices nearby and opened her eyes, she found herself only about four gryphon-lengths from two unknown males. She stopped in her tracks. Se would have walked right into them had she not heard them speak! She silently chastised herself for her folly. It was now impossible not to be noticed by them. She was about to just turn around and leave when she recognized recognized one of them. "You." It could be none other than Abiyram, the Pride Master of the Debonair Gardens and basically the leader of the northern prides altogether. If he had been alone, then perhaps she could have - No no, what are you thinking? You're the one who speaks out against violence. Although she didn't know him, it disgusted her that a fellow Stalla Draco could be someone like him and stand for the things that he did. She had thought of dozens of things to blame him for but kept her beak shut. She had no idea how he would react to her casting insults at him. The large brute next to him could have been a bodyguard for all she knew, and angering either one of them would probably be a bad move on her part. Instead she said nothing, and simply nodded her head in a simple greeting. Perhaps he wouldn't recognize her as a Southerner. This post has been edited by Kris on Oct 3 2008, 03:25 PM |

Dagon studied the male with polite interest. He was scrawny, but didn't seem to be weak, just small. The male had two horns spiraling from his head, a interesting feature, so this one was one of the new species. He also was brightly colored, white head with a brilliant red coat patterned with spots. Finally he seemed to have an aura of command. Perhaps he was one of the other pride leaders, if that was the case he should certainly get to know him.
" Its a pleasure to meet you. I am sorry I did not introduce myself earlier, I am Dagon pridemaster of Avtime Marsh. he said, dipping his head in greeting. The brute then fell silent, as there wasn't anything else to mention. The silence proceeded for a long moment, that is until he noticed a dark figure off to his right. Dagon turned his head, his aquamarine eyes displaying curiosity, now who had joined them now? He heard an accusatory you faintly on the wind. He frowned ever so slightly, confused to as why the newcomer had said such a thing. However after a few moments he dismissed it as just the breeze playing tricks with him or a spirit messing with his thoughts. Besides she didn't look dangerous and by her simple greeting he could tell she meant no harm. Much unlike the other gryphon he had met a while back. That was an unpleasant encounter to say the least. Hopefully this female wasn't of the same foul force. |
