For the moment, there was nothing more to be said. Nor would she be able to say it even if there was, because for all intents and purposes, the universe had just exploded around her.

Struck completely mute by the emotion welling up within her stomach and breast, Sol leaned forward, wrapping one of her arms over Sanu's shoulder and round the back of his strong neck as her irridescent ivory beak touched his in a deep, long, passionate kiss. Around them the rest of the world, which had already faded into obscurity as they had begun to make their feelings known, now fell away completely as her breathless heart soared high into the stratosphere, bourne aloft by those strong, powerful talons and stunning purple-stained plumage of her precious, noble knight. His scent enveloped her like the thick, comforting wings of a mother around a newborn chick, and her blood roared with a blazing inferno of excitement and ecstasy as her mind began to spin, locked in dizzying rapture at the sensation of his presence and their close, electric contact. For the first time since that night so many years ago when she had taken her young siblings under her wing, caring for them and looking after them until their parents came home, she felt really, truly, happy.

Part of her wished that moment could have lasted forever - that they could both have died then and there, so close to each other in unspeakable bliss, spending the rest of eternity locked in that special moment with nothing to ever break their wonder and delight. But as much as her soul cried and rebelled at the thought of it, her logical mind dragged her back from the edge before she became completely lost to her emotions, forcing her to consider the real world once again. They were not mindless beasts, they were civillised Griffins with proper ettiquete and morals to consider, and for all her overwhelming flood of emotion, she knew that she must take the time to do things the right way. Besides, she would have to consider Sanu's feelings too - although he had just accepted her, she still did not know just how fast he wanted the relationship to progress, or what he felt comfortable with.

Reluctantly, and with an act of supreme determination and willpower, she slowly pulled back from the powerful kiss, allowing their beaks to part. "I will!" she murmured quietly, barely able to ennunciate the words thanks to her lack of breath and tense, shaking muscles. "I will be with you for all eternity and beyond!"

Slowly she padded alongside him, lying down lightly by his flank and gently leaning her small form on his muscular body, reveling in the sparks of nervous energy that every touch of their soft plumage sent racing up and down her spine. Questions were beginning to form in her mind, questions that needed to be asked - What implications would their pairing have for their respective Prides, and who would forsake their title to join the other in their home? Where and when would the ceremony be held, and what would it consist of? How long, indeed, should they leave before formalising their relationship in such a way, to allow time for them to adjust, and perhaps meet one anothers' friends and family members before finally going ahead with it all? And yet, for now she found herself unable to make such queries - she wanted to leave this moment unbroken for as long as she possibly could, enjoy it as much as she was able before such worries came tubling in. She could ask later, in a few moments or a few centuries, however long it took...but for now, while there was just her, him and the beauty of the peaceful glade surrounding them, she simply could not bring herself to break that wonderful atmosphere with anything besides the deafening beat of her overflowing heart...
